Untitled

I know it has been a while since my last post. Sorry loyal fans. I will try to make up for it the next few days. I have been knee deep in some family issues. Anyway, I have also been working my butt off. I finished this appellate brief I was working on. Basically the question is, is it right for a judge to let the prosecution have a bunch of resets in a case because they haven't prepared (even though the defense is there and ready because no one told them about the resets) and then when the defense cannot have a witness at trial because of only five days notice not allow a reset. To me the answer seems clear but to the courts it might not.

Lets see what else has been going on. I was disappointed by the Tech loss. I really thought we could take Texas. Damn longhorns. They have got to be the biggest disappointment year after year. I mean they always have the best players and stuff but they always do the least with it. Tech does pretty good having a bunch of scrappy no names out there. I was still happy to be a Tech fan.

We watched The Day After Tomorrow on Monday. It was a really good movie. The special effects were good, the story was good. All in all I would give it an A-. It is well worth a rent.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas came out yesterday. I have played through the first few levels and it is looking quite good. I will bring it up more as I play through it.

It has been a pretty good week. I thought there would be a lot of clients coming in because of the Tech/Texas game but it has been a little slow. Oh well, as long as laws exist, criminals will too.

I guess that pretty much updates things since my last post. I will write more often from this post on. The first one back is always the hardest.
