Neck and Neck
Last week Bush was ahead in every poll. Among registered voters during September 24-26 Bush was ahead by 11 points. Then after the debate things changed. The latest poll released put Bush and Kerry tied amongst likely voters.
This is the biggest jump in the polls in United States history. The biggest jump prior to this was during the Kennedy/Nixon race when Kennedy jumped up 4 points after their debate.
This was definitely a relief. Even I the eternal optimist was not sure if Kerry was gonna have the umph to make it a close race. Thankfully after the debate, I know he does. Kerry is supposed to be a closer, and I sure hope he continues closing for the next few weeks.
To all the republicans that thought they had it in the bag, ha. To all the democrats, it isn't over yet. And to all those that haven't decided, today is the last day to register in Texas.
